This site is a tribute to Filippo Merlino, who was born in Sicily on January 21, 1949. He is a much loved Brother, Husband, Papa and Nonno and he will always be missed, but never forgotten.

Filippo spent the last two months of his life in Southmead Hospital, Bristol, where he continued to stay strong, brave, tough and positive despite life changing challenges. Sadly, he could no longer continue to fight and passed away on 12th October 2021.

Filippo was a very special man who we will miss dearly and we are truly heart broken. Thank you to family and friends for their support, cards and flowers during these difficult few weeks.

We would like to thank all the staff on the Renal Ward at Southmead Hospital (Gate 8), who have been amazing throughout the years.
